I was very surprised that we didn't fill our quota for the SF.
I thought it was in part a consequence of the current protests by the city fan groups?

Wasn't a good look either way.
Some of your posts are ergh weird.
Who gives a fuck what it looks like to others ?
The semi final was at a shit time on a shit day at a shit stadium.
Knowing they may have to repeat the journey 3 weeks later, some Blues simply said. I'm not going.
Some, having done it 29 previous times said, nah, it's ok but I'm going to pass on this.

This is a final. It's still at a shit stadium at a shit time but it's a final.

It will sell out with ease, our 30th ? visit in 14 years ?

Yes it's tough financially for many these days. I'm surprised people local to Wembley don't make a few bob renting out their spare room for the night. Most fans will be out all day and night, just drop their bag, come back for a kip and be gone in the morning.
Kinnell pc have you seen the cesspits around Wembley.

One option for anyone worried about trains but don’t want to drive the full way is park at Milton Keynes. Trains run back there until late (last train 23.55) on Saturdays. Super off peak return is £18.90 into central London or £25 to Wembley. Hotels in MK that night from £50 too.
You can also get a day travel pass from MK for all trains including to Wembley stadium for about £16. The fastest trains to London are about 30 mins with the longest taking 1 hour. Lots of Blues did this for the semi.

The apathy is clearly there for a lot of City fans if reading this thread is anything to go by. We're in the FACup final which is a great occasion to be part of and something I would have given my right arm for only 15 years ago. I had a blast as per usual for the Semi Final, yes I don't agree with it being staged there but I'll make the most of it. It's a City away game what's not to like. We've been knocked out early from Champs League and some fans don't get to go away games so it's a perfect chance to go watching the blues on mass. Embrace the day or stay over and make the most of it . Yes it's a dear do but it was still, expensive back in 2011 but it was no excuse then.

Have a look at some of our home attendances for that FA Cup run in 2010-2011 and try and tell me that apathy didn’t exist back then.

The fact is that apathy has always existed amongst not just City fans but every other fanbase too. It’s why we got 43,000 for the Manchester derby in 1989, but only 26,000 against Luton a week later. Similarly, across town just 6 months earlier United got 55,000 against Forest for a QF FA Cup match but only 36,000 for a league game against Luton the following Saturday.
I don’t disagree. But my original comment about a lack of apathy in 2011 was specifically about the final, which we could have sold out on our own. I had several mates who didn’t get tickets and subsequently joined the cup scheme as a result.

They charged me £30 from MK for the semi

Yeah it’s a good option. No way am I missing a cup presentation if we win to catch a last train so need to find other options.

The ticket prices are shocking, bar the £50 tickets at the front of L1 with a shit view.

£125 to stand in the safe standing section at the back of L1.

£125 fucking pounds!
All seats are a shit view at Wembley as it is such a shallow stadium for its size, to get any elevation you end up about 60 yards from the pitch.

The ones at the front behind the goals have always been the second cheapest and were £70 in 2019 and gone up a fiver this year to £75.

While it may not be ideal for those who miss the last Manchester train there are later options from St Pancreas going to Sheffield. How you get home from there late at night I'm not sure but maybe a kindly friend or family member could pick you up.lol. The 22:31 actually goes to Derby getting in at 00:45.
The good old rattler from Sheffield to Piccadilly. When I first moved reluctantly to Leicester in the late '80s, my whole week was spent looking forward to Friday 5pm when I could jump on the train to Sheff, then get the rattler across the Peaks, and on to Alty. Meet my mates at The Railway. Beer, City, more beer...then back again Sunday night. Rinse and repeat for 5 years, until I discovered Leicester & Rugby branch.

Loved Fridays, hated Sundays.

Does anyone know what’s happening with the 1894 tickets? I am told me and my 2 lads are in a list that was sent to the club but I’ve no confirmation of 3 tickets and if not getting them I’d need to buy myself tomorrow? If anyone has any advice good they reply or send me a PM? Cheers

In the corners of level 3 you can find £50 tickets next to £125 tickets just across an aisle (where lower and higher prices meet in the corner).

Was having a nosey to see if I could find out what Palace’s allocation was, and came across this, bummer if you get caught out 15 minutes before kick off
