Alot can be said in hindsight but sometimes it just isn't your day, stones selection was debatable but he is a top player in his own right and should have done the job but problem wasn't just stones was it? Hardly any one turned up, all in all a good season comes to an end, a double would have been nice but a 4th league title in a row is no less

I think it's guesswork,based on what they saw in the 1st half tbf.

Gutted. We played so well in this competition until today. Those Tottenham and Chelsea wins mean nothing now. I can't believe the club allowed the players to party before this game.

We still get a runners-up medal don't we?

Haaland goes missing if KDB has a bad game or not there. Plus he got out jumped by 5'7 Martinez.

Alvarez not good enough. Should have buried those chances. His passing is rubbish too.

Stones shouldn't have played.

The first point clearly isn't true because he was leading the Premier League scorers table when KDB had been out for five months.

Agree with the last point. We all love Stones but it was evident early in the game he shouldn't be starting. I'd have started Akanji.

the performance looked leggy from our players.

Ive said it numerous times this season but we need to have a plan for KDB as he cannot keep doing it on a regular basis.....he was so poor today and he looked way off it and we have seen other games like that....even over half a season of brilliance from him there were a number of performances like that dotted about.

They set up and played deep and very defensive.....obvious tactic. We gave them the first goal and the second was a good goal on the break.....as predicted

Second half was better but we looked like we were playing on the edge and just werent at it at all...tiredness rather than complacency I feel.

Not to bothered about the end result as we got the league and that matters most.

More concerned about our midfield options for next season....Bernardo leaving (probably) and KDB will not be able to continue playing 3 games a season...Nunes a clearly not trusted to step up.

we need a bit of an overhaul and there are a couple of big decisions to make especially around KDB, nunes and maybe Grealish who seems to have dropped way out of favour over the season. Add to the likely departure of Bernardo and that is some serious recruitment. Bruno G form Newcastle looks ok but also looks more of a squad filler.

Go into the season without making quality decisions and we could be caught by the likes of Arsenal.
