Good to see you again yesterday de niro. I totally agree with your post and I hope that Mancini is around to knock them back in to shape.

The boys in blue never give in. We fight to the end. Bring on Reading on Tuesday. I'll be there, loud and proud.

Just curious... if Mancini is capable of knocking the team into shape, why didn't he knock them into shape for this season, or for the FA Cup final? Did he take the season off? Couldn't be bothered? Didn't realize they weren't in shape?

Gutted, but credit to Wigan they were the better team.

My main issue was the introduction of Milner/withdrawal of Nasri.

We needed another body in central midfield and it looked like this was going to happen however, he just replaced Nasri's position with Milner staying further out-wide which was extremely ineffective.

What should have happened was Rodwell replacing Silva with Yaya pushed further forward. (Rodwell replaced the wrong player at the wrong time).

Against teams that can move the ball quickly and press high, a central midfield of just Barry (or Garcia) and Yaya is criminal.

just a question about Sunday - I have got the match on video but I cannot bring myself to watch it - was it a foul and penalty on Sergio in the second half?

Got back early evening last night and by the time I got on here it was all speculation about Mancini. Going back to the cup final and to save me time trawling through pages and pages to find anything has there been any official disection of what the fuck happened out there on the pitch and as to why we were outplayed and looked utterly uninterested in performing.?

There was also a foul on Silva, just inside the box I think, and I'm positive Mariner would have given it if Silva had not tried to play the ball forward.

Anyway, can't grumble. And congrats to Wigan, and thanks to the majority of their fans for having some kind of dignity in victory, could have been easy to rub it in a bit more but most seemed quite pleasant afterwards. Actually, tehy seemed a shell-shocked as us to be honest.

Wish I could say as much for others, saw a comment from a Gillingham fan saying he'd waited 14 years for 'revenge' on city. They win promotion and have exiting times ahead, yet still want to put the boot in. Very pound of all who stayed to clap ours and theirs though, don't remember the Gils doing that for us, or Stoke for that matter. Sometimes you just have to take it on the chin and say well done you lot.

Let's not panic. Whatever happens it is clear from the top within our club that we must challenge, if not win, for every
