Not sure if this was a problem localised to us or whether it was user error but for the bayern game I was unable to transfer a ticket I purchased on my father's ST to my son.
Not sure if this applies to all cup games. Hopefully someone with more experience will know

Well we transferred my wife’s ticket to my son for the Bayern Munich with no problem. This was admittedly from the UEFA scheme.

My understanding is you can only transfer tickets if you are on the cup scheme so if he's not that's your answer if he is then I'd suggest it was a glitch which are quite common.

It was odd, there was a link to transfer but they could just be forwarded.

Are you referring to the FA cup semi? The guy I replied to was talking about issues with the Bayern game and mobile tickets and my belief and happy to be corrected is the rule is you can only transfer tickets from your account to another supporter if your on the cup scheme which obviously only applies for home games not a semi final at Wembley as they like the cup final will be sent to supporters via email and are not just updated in your mobile wallet.
