Belfast to Gatwick Friday night. The faffing about trying to get into London without trains. Hook up with a chum near Wembley for a pint or two before a historic triumph. Hopefully Part Two of reasons to be cheerful, one, two, three.
 
Anyone know which service stations are designated red/blue - I assume that holds for the way back

To answer OP question -
Driving from mid-Cheshire via Shrewsbury to pick my old man up.

Thinking of leaving 8am and arrive at Wembley for Noon-ish
 
Dublin to birmingham. Bus to finchley road tube station . Metropolitan line to Wembley back to luton for 6.30 flight home Sunday morning. Work at 10am
