FFS, you're a mere kid.I am in the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow on the way to my hotel.
I am 55 years old and i can not remember the last time that i was so excited about going to the match.

It is interesting, innit? A bit "planes, trains and automobiles". Sort of.My favourite thread of the season this hearing how we’re all on the move , absolutely love this .
beaconsfield usually easy to wembley but a train strike not so goodThat a bit of a tricky one, isn’t it?
Looks to me as though you’ve got to get across to Amersham (not sure how far away you are, never heard of Beaconsfield, which is odd, because I grew up in places like Pinner, Harrow-on-the-Hill, Hatch End, so I should know it!), either in your own car, or get someone to drive you, or Uber. Once you’re there, you’re home free — Met line into Wembley Park.
Obviously, you want to think ahead about arrangements for the return trip.
Drive to Chorleywood - a great pub right next to the station car park called the Old Shepherd.beaconsfield usually easy to wembley but a train strike not so good
either drive to elizabeth line or amersham and tube other option is heathrow / hounslow 15 mins drive and then tube
Going Amersham myself, there is an 1100 capacity multi storey by the station. You could also do Uxbridge or Amersham but I picked Hillingdon as parking seemed the best and it's straight onto the A40/M40 after the game.

Try Mabel’s. South of the Euston Rd. Seemed to be City friendly when I was there. Fairly pleasant pub anyway.
Found a place on the Euston Road called the Euston Flyer. It's alright, despite some bloke banging out "Let me entertain you" on an acoustic guitar. Amstel at £6 a pint, not too bad for London prices, I suppose. The Lucas Arms is a good shout, traditional small pub and reasonable prices.
