Thats why we flying. Looked at train but with 3 kick off gave it miss. Plus flights were 30 return el cheapo

Flying out from Ireland West (aka Knock) airport at 8:20 on Friday morning, flying into Stansted. Then got to make my way into London, which may entail a 2 hr (!) bus trip if there's no Stansted Express service on the day.

Stansted express one an hour at 43 mins past.

I looked at flying from Manchester as soon as I heard about the train strikes, but it looks like only British airways fly there now and it was £350+ minimum.
