FA Cup Games 15/16/17/18 Febuary

Just watching Brighton v Derby, the Derby keeper has a dark (purple) colour shirt on, the rest of the team dark blue, I thought the keeper had to wear a completely different colour top so they can be distinguished from the other outfield players on the team??
Up close it may be ok but from
Where I’m watching from my armchair it doesn’t ..

VAR is in game nothing to do with what they do with it after,it's a brand new system and it has to start somewhere

My point is they’ll refuse to over rule a ref after a game saying he’s made a decision and that’s it, why? If they’re happy to do it during a game they should now be able to do it after it’s finished.

Now I’m fine for them looking and changing incorrect decisions in games, offsides, handballs where the referee has only one viewpoint, but yellow cards are down to interpretation, if they are going to overrule him on these it throws out even more opportunities to fuck certain teams over.
Vinny v Dippers is a yellow, that can now be decided to be a red because someone in a box with it slowed down to look worse can say so. Opening another can of worms with it. Either they go with the refs decision of yellow or the ref has to wait for them to decide on ALL card offences.
We’ll end up seeing more decisions like Delph at Wigan last year when we ALL KNOW Taylor was told to change it to red.

I have exactly the same thought. Surprised the ref allowed it.

Nope, Ref has seen the incident, correctly awarded a free kick and decided it’s worthy of a yellow card, which this was btw, if VAR can change that to a red, why can’t they do the same with other incidents but after the game instead of saying the ref has seen it so they can’t change it?
It’s exactly the same but as I say they make it up as it suits.
I'd go with that.
'We can't go back because the ref has seen it and issued a Yellow Card'
But with VAR, we can go back and give a Red?
'That is of course unless it's Balotelli or Aguero

I'd rather have the correct decisions made during the game where it really matters as whatever they decide post match that doesn't help you result wise.I don't know if the ref asked VAR to review that booking he gave or whether they thought he had got it wrong at full speed, there is a lot to iron out but i'm prepared to see how it goes and decide at the end of next season if on balance i think it is a good thing or not

And Ashley Cole scores on his debut at age 38 to bring Derby back to within 1 with 10 or so minutes to play (with stoppage).
