FA Cup Games 27/28 Jan & 6/7 Feb replays

I know they got the decisions right but it kills the excitement. You score then wait 5 minute sto see if it is actually a goal.

The system as it is is fucking horrific and it just wont work.

You basically have players refereeing games here.

Rooney is prime example of a twat

I thought it was for offside, pens and serious foul play, which it should be, anythung else should be down to the ref and lino's.

Works well in other sports most of the time and really hasn't slowed the first half down anymore than of a linesman and ref have a discussion.

My terminology is off but basically it's clear and obvious errors. The reality is that exactly those types of decisions today will always get reviewed, right or wrong.

In this case today, they were both right.

So you know for sure that no.West Brom players had their shirts pulled earlier in the move & can guarantee if if happens later, at a corner, the ref will give them.a pen ?

No system is perfect. I actually said that. However both VAR decisions were correct. Thats a good thing. If someone's getting there shirt pulled no where near the ball, that's hardly comparable to a player interfering with a goal keeper when a goal is scored.

He touched him. Its still a contact sport. He went down like a sack os hit.

I couldn’t see what happened on my shitty mini stream on my Bet365 app but if that’s the case then whether he gave a pen or not, the ref’s decision shouldn’t be overturned as it’s open to interpretation whether it’s a penalty. It doesn’t come under the category of clear and obvious error. I’m in favour of VAR but only if it’s applied correctly.
