You know that’s not happening hahaha. The eye of the needle pass can work with good movement and crisp passing. However, we do love a thunderbastard on occasion :)

I noticed that whilst it's our FA Cup 3rd round today, it's also the round of 64 in France, so I did a bit of reading.

If you think our FAC is complicated (with all our preliminary rounds), check this out in France (it's efectively round 9), teams from places like Martinique, New Caledonia, Guadaloupe, Reunion, French Polynesia, and French Guiana get to take part.

Fascinating if a bit long winded.

A couple of teams from the other counties playing in this round, Golden Lyon FC from Martinique (losing 10-0 to top division Lille with 15 minutes left), and CS Moulien from Guadeloupe (losing 3-0 to Romarantin 4th level with about 20 minutes left), both playing away from home, I wonder how many away fans have travelled ?

Getting to the last 64 is quite an achievment really, I haven't counted how many will have played and gone out before today but it's a lot, and both of these beat teams from their own countries in earlier rounds.

This bloke has just been sacked from Rangers and cannot inspire his team in their biggest derby in years. I can see them sliding down the table and joining Birmingham in mediocrity
