Of course but that's not what we are discussing is it, if your team aren't playing, or you can't get a ticket and your local town team are away in the cup then what's the problem with turning out and boosting their support? Like I said it's a day on the piss, with the lads out of your local boozer, no loss to your actual team who probably don't give a flying fuck about you anyway, as proved by the amount of fans on here who have beefs with City over the way they are treated.I can relate to it, I just don't agree with it. You support your team through thick and thin, particularly the thin bit.
You say you can relate to it but it's clear you don't. I can guarantee every single one of the smaller lower league/non league clubs who get to the January rounds of the cup and get an away tie will take loads of fans who are only going because it's a day on the piss, with mates, nothing whatsoever to do with who you support every other weekend.
