They said it was accidental, which it was; but a ridiculous situation that a goal can be awarded when his hand ‘killed’ the ball. Funny though!Not by VAR.

I don't think that's relevant, VAR can overturn a goal if there was a *non accidental* handball anywhere in the build up, defensive or not.For defensive penalties, yes.
Once Taylor hadn’t given the handball, VAR couldn’t disallow it as only the touch assisting the goal or handball by the scorer mean the decision would be overturned.
