One thing I never get is why the media big up the fans of these smaller sides when they bring more than their average home gate to an away game in the cup. Upmost respect for those that are there every week, and im sure they'll make the most of any cup run and rightly so but i heard the commentators say maidstone took 4.5k today which is more than double their average home crowd. so at least half of them are part time fans then?

Strange that the TV companies didn't try to shoehorn a game into the 5:30 slot. Already screening the maximum they're allowed, maybe?
