Doubt it, he signed an 8 year contract, be surprised if buy back was part of the deal.

That Sterling miss was almost identical to the three he missed in the first half against the rags when we lost 3-2.

A lot of the players who left us in recent years to try and be guaranteed starters somewhere are already back to square one. Sterling, Jesus, Zinchenko all far from mainstays in their side's best XI and all likely to be upgraded on soon.

At what point does just moving clubs to get minutes stop being a viable option?

Generally agree with that, especially for these mid-career players.

It's worked for Palmer though, Poch has built the whole team around him.

Stirling is what he is, dynamic player but isn't good enough for elite teams now.
