Nailed on we'll draw a premier league opponent. No chance we get Coventry.
Is it because he’s Cold Palmer that he does that? That Sterling miss was almost identical to the three he missed in the first half against the rags when we lost 3-2.
Game over now, that silly celebration player that used to play for us scores.
And that is the reality of the situation. Where would we accommodate him on a regular basis.Quick question (not just directed at you, by the way, but to all those who'll be on here bemoaning the sale); if we were playing the CL final next weekend, and had a fully fit squad (including Palmer), would he start? No; of course not. And there is the problem. He'd be on the bench. As of now, he'd only be a squad player for us. Which, if rumours are to be believed, he was not happy about. The move has worked out brilliantly for him; he's getting regular first team football, and he's delivering. I'm happy for him. There's no guarantees that that would have happened with us.
He’s a superb player when instinctive. When he has time to engage his brain, he’s dreadful. Always was and always will be.I'd say very inconsistent as a finisher and footballer in general. Got lots of goals for us (top 10 City goalscorers ever). Was it the team he played in creating those chances or his qualities as a player ? A bit of both perhaps.
I could say the same thing about Kyle Walker's decision making though. He has all the physical attributes in the world but he often shows ... 'inconsistent' footballing intelligence. He cost us 2 points a few weeks ago which could be pivotal in the destination of the title. Left Kyle Walker for dead and placed it in the corner past Edison. Maddingly inconsistent though.
Agreed. He’s a superb player when instinctive. When he has time to engage his brain, he’s dreadful. Always was and always will be.
And questionable off the field decision-making intelligence tooI could say the same thing about Kyle Walker's decision making though. He has all the physical attributes in the world but he often shows ... 'inconsistent' footballing intelligence.
Nailed it. When he has time to think about what he's going to do, he's screwed. He’s a superb player when instinctive. When he has time to engage his brain, he’s dreadful. Always was and always will be.
