No premier league side has drawn more Premier league sides in the last 5 seasons than Manchester United.No one,it's unbelievable how hard our draws have been.Last season we stuff ye away in 3rd round and then we get drawn away versus Liverpool.You couldn't pick 2 harder draws.Another 2 premier League draws this year so if anyone is to talk about agendas it's us.

Not sure scraping a 3-2 win against 10 men constitutes a stuffing, but agree you don't get preferential draws.

They save their preferential draws for the chumps league. Don't want to make it too obvious.....

I'm in neither camp, but I don't think a vaguely easy game for City in a cup draw disproves all notions of corruption/cheating etc since the dawn of time.

It doesn't disprove anything, of course. But had Utd been drawn at home to Barnsley, and us against Chelsea, there would be uproar on here. And the usual conspiracists would point to it as "proof" that there's an agenda against us. I'm merely counterbalancing that.

It's a good draw but leave out the Wembley talk for now, Barnsley are actually one of the form teams in the Championship.

Agree with the leaving out wembley talk but just checked their league position and they are in a relegation battle So if they are one of the form teams the rest must be crap

Do you actually know what 'form' is in football? Forget their league position - they were in even deeper shit a month or so back but look like they might survive now. How does WWDWWWWW grab you? I don't doubt City will reach the semi-final, but it won't necessarily be the cakewalk most folk on here seem to have assumed.

In both these cases - and Arsenal vs. Blackburn yesterday - the Premier League team played a weakened side. City, on the other hand, played a practically full-strength team today - Kolarov rather than Clichy being the one debateable exception - as we did against Watford and Stoke in the previous rounds.

My fairly obvious point, was that anybody can beat anybody as you found out against Crystal Palace, which you disagreed with earlier.
