We always get good crowds for FA cup games as it is priced well. £10 this time for me. Bargain.
I don't know for certain.
City's tickets are sold online so I log in with my username and password and flick through the available blocks, and estimate the numbers left. That gives an estimate for the numbers available online. If City don't put them online then my estimate will be wrong. For example, I know there are single seats left in Levels one and two that are not shown online so I kept my comment simple, "there are ~2,500 seats left online". There's probably a few hundred single seats left in a few blocks in Levels 1 and 2 that will become available as the seats in the 3rd tiers sell out.
Here is an example of one block. There are about 20 blocks left on sale (mostly in the 3rd tier) so I click on each block, guesstimate the number on sale and keep a running total. Most days I post the figure in the topic.
I'll do it each day so you can keep an eye on it. It's only a guide based on City's online selling system.
Thank you. There’s an easier way than that to count how many are left online mate. Just use the slider for ticket numbers and keep upping it. It eliminates blocks when it goes above the number of tickets left in each block, and then just add them up as you go along.
as I cant make it due to the kick off time is it on tv
No surprise at all us home with Vale, rags away at Wolves. No, but it'll be no surprise to learn that united are on though.
Hope you enjoy the day. 8,000 away fans shows your club is alive and kicking. Onwards and upwards in 2020 for Vale and Man City.Hi, Obviously a Vale fan here looking forward to visiting the Eitihad for the first time, went to Maine Rd a few times, think we won the last time on a Boxing Day.How things have changed your club has gone into orbit compared to where you were and us well we were never in orbit but we did have a decent Championship side, but due to the massive influx of "Foreign" investment we had no chance of doing anything but going down and down. You may be wondering why if Vale average 4.5k home gates how come 8k plus will be there on Saturday ? Well we very nearly went to the wall last year our last owner bled the club dry of any income, one of his proud achievements was feeding the players on out of date pies from previous games can you believe that and our reputation was at an all time low we just survived relegation to the National league and we were days away from being but into administration, fortunately our new owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan bought the club at albeit a vastly inflated price, rumour has it £4 million, small change to club like yours but an absolute ransome for us.
Vale fans are so grateful that there has been an out pouring of "Love" towards our new owners hence the Super Vale Away Chant you will no doubt hear, Carol has said she misses sitting in the away crowd singing this particular song and Vale fans from all over the country are coming to you as a show of appreciation to the Shanahan family for rescuing our club, we realise we have no chance of getting anything, even a corner will be met with wild celebration ! Our victory will come when the gate receipts are totted up it will mean the Shanahans will get some money back on their initial investment,a draw like this is like winning the lottery for a 2nd division club like us as we get isolated more and more from footballs top table.
Someone mentioned a pre season friendly at Vale Park in the early 70's I was at the game absolute mayhem that day, thank goodness those days are in the past.
Ps Please keep it to single figures, Shite City would love us to get hammered !!!!
Yes, they moved it for TV purposes, its just not on in the UK, why would match going fans matter though ?as I cant make it due to the kick off time is it on tv
