FA Cup R3 | Salford City (H) | Sat 11 Jan 1745

I think it does it matter a bit. You want the opportunity to go to the big games, say United or Madrid with your kids. Otherwise you’re saying you can go to games, but only against league 2 opposition in the cup. It’s not an away game either, where there’s limited tickets and you have to accept that.

If league games were affordable this wouldn’t be an issue as you’d have a choice. Football hasn’t always been cheap, but it was much more affordable going back - you can see that in how the crowd has changed so much.
You are never going to get cheap tickets for Madrid or United.

Maybe mate but my first couple of years of watching City, from 5 years old, was watching our youth team and reserves. I watched the first team Matches when I turned 7.

The Salford game is the 3rd round of the FA CUp. It should always be seen as a big game regardless of who we play IMHO. Memories of going on the coach across the Pennines to Elland Road,’as a 7 year old, is the game I will always remember.

So they've been given 5,100 odd and there's 6,000 seats in SS3 so that would suggest that there will be plenty of segregation on the first few rows to potentially stop then throwing stuff down.

Whether it'll work or not remains to be seen

Over double their average home attendance, more rags than fake rags in the away end for this one.

If you're taking kids does it matter if its a Premier League game or a cheap as chips cup game ? Watching football hasn't been cheap for 20 odd years, that"s why if you have a season ticket you don't give it up !
People that have given up going because of the ticket prices and tickets being unavailable are not suddenly going to be jumping for joy because a cup tie is available to watch on the cheap
The club can bury there head in the sands but you only have to look at tickets sales
With what we have achieved Tickets should be sold out a month in advance and 5 people should be after any returns
Just look at Burnley last year and Forrest this year
Things will only get worse if they don't sort it out as thousands ain't suddenly going to start paying £60-£70 for tickets in the North Stand

The attitude of the club is completely wrong though. They're perfectly happy for locals to come and fill the stadium for unattractive fixtures when the tourists aren't interested. But as soon as there's a little bit of interest in a game, suddenly there's £500 off site hospitality, there's tickets on every tout site going, and they're £80 on the club website (Only if theres any left of course).

I'm also fortunate enough to have a season ticket, but surely you can recognise that Matchday Members are treated like absolute shit

There will be some Rag interlopers for sure but I’d have been more concerned if we were playing FC Scum. Those cunts truly are the dregs of society and it would’ve been messy having thousands of those fuckers above us in SS3.

No i don't, it's a business and with ffp and the premier league's own rules the bean counters are hard at work maximising profit, that's the reality of it.

I should imagine it will be a three-way split of folk you wouldn't invite to afternoon tea - Rag arse lickers, Rags 'n Raggy Mostonians.
