Yes they did exist before the rag infestation. I used to watch them occasionally up to the early 90's. What pissed me off about the draw, apart from being in ragland, was the stupid presenter. The FA Cup is prestigious and always used to show due respect to each and every club. So it's not "Stockport",it's Stockport County. It's not "Brighton", it's Brighton and Hove Albion.
And it's not Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough (never heard that before), it's Middlesbrough. And the rest of the ex rag managers. For years millions listened on a radio somewhere in the middle of the day and would have been mortified to hear "Tony Book's Manchester City vs Bob Stokoes Sunderland
