This led to many instances of City chanting 'Jimmy Hill's a bastard'

The amusing thing was, he noticed it! And assured viewers of Match of The Day that his parents had, in fact, been married. I remember that distinctly. If he hadn't mentioned it, I'd have forgotten decades ago.

You'd think so but in the last few weeks we've beaten Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal in Cup matches yet managed to get knocked out by Southampton.
Go figure that out.

Likewise. IIFC they ended our 21 match unbeaten run..........

16 games unbeaten, Bristol City beat us 1-0 to prevent us getting to 17 games unbeaten.

Not too sure.....I remember our coach got bricked by the docks and all hell broke loose for a minute or two, sure it was daylight as I could clearly see one of there lot ' fall ' majestically off the wall and into the mud below. I doubt I'd have gone to Bristol on a coach midweek.... Could be wrong, it was a while ago...
