BBC (1st pick) & ITV are a fucking joke. There are 2 games to choose from and schedule. How hard can it be FFS?
No regard for the 180,000 travelling fans (I know no great hardship for Chelsea).
Meanwhile, train and hotel prices will be creeping higher as we get nearer the dat
yesCan never remember, is the East Side the shite pubs
Doesn't make for a good afternoon for SF
To be honest are any pubs any good near there? Every one I have been in have been absolute shitholes. Can never remember, is the East Side the shite pubs
Agreed, we usually drink in South HarrowTo be honest are any pubs any good near there? Every one I have been in have been absolute shitholes.
Really ? So £30 extra over 10 months will stop people going ? mmmm...Season ticket rises will stop lots travelling
Yes,and the semi 2011.Were we West against the rags.
Largely true. The Liquor Station on the West Side was quite decent though against the Rags last season. The alcohol prices weren’t though. £18 for 2 single gin and tonics and they used the same small bottle of tonic water for both drinks! To be honest are any pubs any good near there? Every one I have been in have been absolute shitholes.
In that case expect the tubes to be redolent of banana scented farts and ralgex! And the marathon runners too.
Fox n Goose, Ealing.Agreed, we usually drink in South Harrow
ITV will virtually always lean to picking United or Liverpool as they know the viewing figures (and the all important advertising revenue) are going to be guaranteed irrespective of how attractive to neutrals the game actually is.So bbc get first pick, they must've spent days sat round a table deciding which looks the better fixture. 2 prem sides going head to head yes surely, but wait it's utd, mmm utd we show them every round even if it's against Yeovil at home. Expect our game to be on itv on the Sunday
If any area is going to have the highest tax avoiders non payers no insurance no car tax ………….. no BBC TV LicenceITV will virtually always lean to picking United or Liverpool as they know the viewing figures (and the all important advertising revenue) are going to be guaranteed irrespective of how attractive to neutrals the game actually is.
BBC with no ulterior motive, tends to pick games more on merit. That’s not to say they don’t sometimes make weird decisions!
Now that place really is something else.Who had the Boxpark against United? I thought it usually goes to whoever is on the West Side but can’t remember us having it against United. Had to make do with the Chrystal club
And the final that year, and against Wigan two years later. I always think of that as “our” end.Yes,and the semi 2011.
