FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

There really are a shed load of seats available with less than a week to go.

What annoys me is that I bought them when they went on sale to citizens and I could only buy one- but I’d have gone and bought my kid and wife one too. I had to get a mate to get me one and booked them next to each other to take the kid.

They should have just allowed up to 4 each for citizens from the get go.

It’s gonna be a bollocks atmosphere if it’s only 1/3 full of blues. Caribou was full but like a library for most of the second half and ET.
I've been to many Wembley games but yes, that Chelsea final was the worst atmosphere by far. I don't think the game helped much, but far to many tourists filming it and taking pictures which is what we're getting a lot more of these days.

Yeah agreed, atmosphere at that game was appalling.

Counted about ten lads sat near me or in the concourse filming themselves whilst watching the game.

The only way to guarantee people turn out is for the club to say that if you go to the semi-final you get priority on the final tickets if we get there. I think that would get some fingers out of arses.

I don't really care how many tickets we sell tbh. I'll be there with my son and that's all that matters to me. Some rival fans, many of whom have probably never even been to see their own team live in the flesh, will sneer on social media about empty seats but fuck them. Stupid ticket pricing and kick off times should bring genuine fans together in protest, rather than petty point scoring but that's not the world we live in sadly.

I didn't think the atmosphere was too bad but Wembley finals now are always the same. Lots make a weekend of it and probably 80% are spaced out on drink and or drink/drugs by the time a usually late kick off starts. They are wiped out and have little energy but to go to the toilets every five minutes. It was also a tight tense game which leads to long periods of nervous tension. I thought the Chelsea end was even quieter than ours.

I've just worked out that in the last 6 weeks I will have shelled out over £1,000 for transport, match tickets & hostels (Schalke & Tottenham). This doesn't include beer or food money or my season ticket DD. Oh and nor does it include Bournemouth or Swansea.

If we win on Saturday it another minimum £100 day!

I could not criticise anyone for picking and choosing games at the moment & God help anyone with kids.

It was the worst I have ever known it. I actually hadn't been back since the Stoke Cup final, so it was a decent barometer for me in terms of how certain things have developed.

I shit you not, I went into the stadium early as it was my lad's first trip to Wembley and wanted him to take it all in. Anyhow, picture the scene, on the top tier and we're stood up (the stadium has less than 10k in it) our entire block is empty apart from a family of four day-trippers who are sat directly two rows behind us.

The team comes out for the warm-up, lad is flying his flag and the bloke behind us asks us to sit down because they can't see properly and want to take photos.

I was too bemused to say anything and didn't want to ruin the experience for us or them.

It's not a game or experience I recognise much anymore.

*Nor am I 6ft 5 or clinically obese.
*Nor is my eleven year-old lad.
