FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

The way to make this sell out is add semi final purchase as an additional criteria for the final tickets. This will stop thousands, who will be expecting to be in the top 25,000 on points and scheme membership, tossing this one off.

We had 35 on our coach for the LC Final. So far we are struggling to get 25 for the semi. Having the Fulham & Spuds away games either side of it has caused some to give it a miss for financial reasons. I would guess that will be the same for a lot of Blues.
The KO time doesn't help either - it'll be almost daylight by the time we get back to Carlisle.
Can't see this anywhere near selling out.

Could be worse, Brighton have no trains due to weekend work and will have to use rail replacement buses!!! Might be quicker to get to Wembley from Manchester.

Just as long (add one hour plus) and awkward journey. Not a full house?

And Palace away the week after.

4 trips to London in 2 weeks. League fixtures could have been kinder.

Yea that seems a really fair way of excluding our less well off supporters and those that cannot physically attend both fixtures!

Why make it sell out
Give in to the FA with shit timing and a shit location?
I very rarely miss a game booked Fulham and Palace trains and will be at Spurs genuinely considering giving this one a miss
Only way they will wake up and listen is if the ground is half empty
They could make it 12-30 ko with no problems at all for transport

Any more ridiculous suggestions? I actually can't believe you've suggested that. Do you have any respect for your fellow fans?

anyone who doesn't go through finances or health etc - fair enough. Anyone who doesn't go through "can't be bothered to go to a semi v Brighton", go and choose another sport or watch Strictly Come Dancing or whatever shite is on TV. No excuses. 1981 through 2008 (I think) without so much as a semi final and now we are picking and choosing. In my opinion anyone giving it a miss is nothing more than a glory hunting fan. I will never get bored of Wembley because I have seen us lose to Lincoln,York,Bury,Stockport,Mansfield etc etc - and we are now in dreamland so make the bloody most of it as it may not last. Or just watch on TV and pretend you are a fan

Can’t believe someone actually like this too !!

This game will have the seat counters and Emptyhad haters cumming in their pants.
BBC1, prime time, all of England watching.....

33,000 for a semi final with all our games? Cant see it.
Doubt we will sell over 25,000 at best.

The funny thing is, to any other club they would be counting the days down to this game.
To us its just another game in another busy week in our quest for everything.

£120 to watch an FA cup semi final at 5.30, who in their right mind would be paying that?

A few people saying 20k, I don’t think we’ll even reach that. City are unique in the respect that the novelty of Wembley has worn off, we aren’t on the doorstep like some teams and we don’t have tens of thousands of southern based fans to pick up the unsold tickets like some others. I expect it would be an entirely different story if it was at a neutral club ground (as it should be).

We should just take a reduced allocation or put it straight to open sale instead of having the daft restrictions we usually have.

Don’t agree with that at all, the kick off time makes it a complete pain in the arse and most people will be picking their priorities with a final and possibly (hopefully) a trip to Madrid real possibilities in the next couple of months.
