Most entertaining game I've seen this season. Like two heavyweights going blow for blow. I thought you got extremely lucky with cards (especially Aguero) but were better on the whole. Toure is the biggest difference between us. On form we couldn't compete in midfield with him. If we had a young Essien it'd be a more even contest. Could have taken it in the second half but after you packed the box it was too much to crack. I'm happy with the performance considering we've played 15 more games and just came back from Russia.

We thought we had it won when Aguero scored went into defend mode for the last 35 mins but we did it in the end ;)

Phew !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nerves shredded. So many oppportunities to put them away and we end up hanging on like that looking a bit ragged. I was surprised they finished the game stronger.

Well done boys....another final to look forward to.

I'm just curious how ridiculously long the Aguero ban will be. I bet they give him the rest of the season just because its the FA.

I said this in the matchday thread but didn't the referee give a foul and therefore he has seen the incident? FA rules don't allow for a player to be taken action against for something the ref has seen and dealt with.

Not sure. Surely though, as a free kick was awarded, the ref saw it so a retrospective ban shouldn't apply.

MacManaman didn't get one and there wasn't even a free kick awarded for his challenge.

Don't talk sense, we all know the FA change the rules as and when they wish.

Wonderful performance up until that Chelsea goal. I was barely holding on after that, but an immense win nonetheless. I'm really happy, now let's go on to win it!

I also hope Aguero doesn't get a ban for that..it was unnecessary of him and a terrible thing to do.
