I think Pep has lost all faith in Mendy, not even on the bench last night was he?

He can not have rested both Silva's and Sterling to leave them out on Saturday, so I expect he is really going for it against Brighton.

I personally think that pep will go full strength for this as he has already said it’s a trophy he hasn’t won yet? Hopefully get a decent lead and then make changes .

I think Gundogan is ahead of Fernandinho right now as Fern will take a few games to get back to his best. I think Pep will go with Gundogan for both Brighton and Spurs with Fern to either come off the bench or play centre half.

It certainly appears that he's frustrated with Mendy (or at least the constant questions about him) but actually his absence last night could be explained by the fact that we had Zinchenko, Danilo and Laporte last night, all who could play LB and so why waste a sub spot for another one? Having said that, if he isn't in the match day squad for Saturday then there is only one conclusion

Good question. I think it would depend on their fitness case by case at that point. Anyway, the win becomes priority in that situation even if it means playing all of them for 90 or 120 mins, IMHO.

25000 have bought tickets apparently- despite the game kicking off at 5.30 meaning no trains home if it goes to extra time. Disgusting inconsideration for fans.
