It may be the best part of another week before it’s all official. Semi final dates and times have been confirmed 10-12 days after the quarter finals in each of the last three seasons and that includes a couple of occasions when one game could only be on the Sunday due a team having a Europa League tie on the preceding Thursday.

Last season the dates were announced on Friday 22nd March after the quater finals being played the previous weekend , City played Newcastle on the 16th . If that’s anything to go by they should be announced today .

Why 4.30 pm? What do ITV have on a sunday afternoon that means WE have to wait longer to watch the game?

Sky sports have United away at Bournemouth at 2pm, and Dippers vs Spurs at 4.30 why not 3pm?
