Why on earth would anyone suggest we should allow the loanees to play in an facup semi final? May as well suggest we loan them haaland, kev, alvarez and phillis - just to "give them a chance".

Not been since villa 2020 and seeing Newcastle fans making the most of it the other week made me hope for a trip there this year

Same here, didn't fancy it against the Scousers last year, plus you should always make the most of it as you don't know when you will be back there.
Having said that I didn't enjoy the games there apart from the Gooners in 2018 and Watford the year after.

We play a CL q/f 2nd leg a few days before and arsenal in the PL a few days after the FA Cup semi. Hopefully without tempting fate we can rest a few players against Sheff U and still win. Wouldn’t have been able to do that against anybody else

The semi final in 2010 was one of the best games I’ve ever attended, but was incredibly difficult to watch
