The FA will confirm the date on Monday 17th April giving both sets of fans plenty of time to buy tickets, book time off work and sort travel arrangements

I prefer it not knowing the numbers. Builds the tension. Ruins it a bit when you can see the numbers down the side.

Brings back memories of sitting in class with a hidden ear piece listening to the draw on the wireless on a Monday afternoon. We were always low 20s in the third round and your heart skipped a beat if a low 20s number got drawn at somewhere like Liverpool or Arsenal. But then they’d say something like Middlesbrough or Millwall and you’d breath a sigh of relief.

Even more relief when we got some piss easy draw like Halifax or Shrewsbury.

Pretty much definitely Saturday as the world’s greatest club have a game in the consolation shield the previous Thursday. Plus it’s much easier for two southern fanbases to get home on a Sunday…
