or words to that effect.

We’ll sell out, but personally couldn’t care less if it didn’t I’ve got 87 grounds under my belt so fully armoured to face any flack but as I say couldn’t give f**k what any media or social media says basically it’s up to us the city fans
Nobody should have to come on and here and say why they can’t go times are hard times are bloody tough for too many. I’ve enjoyed watching the club all over but never ever once looked down at any other blue for not going.the bloke at home listening to the radio is as much passionate as I was being there .
Even when we’re playing down at main road or if we play a million a miles away we’ll always have the loyal behind us to cheers us on our way.
Up the blues .
Post of the day. Well said mate.

I havent even read this thread because both my lad and me cant afford it. Its go to a semi final and miss out on City home games. We have chosen to attend more City games this season at the Etihad.

I dont like the point of spending a small fortune at Wembley and than again if City make the final. Wembley should be just for the final, I cant help but feel I am being ripped of for a semi final. Plus I didnt really enjoy Wembley at the league cup final v villa. Cant put it into words but it didnt feel special, though Wembley it self was not great about disappointed.

We have booked now for the Watford game, and the Villa game, hopefully a few more.

If it's your passion and hobby you find a way?

Not sure how old you are, married, kids, mortgage, wealthy, etc?

But that is so far removed from the reality.

If any Blue earns £400 a week and they pay £200 for the week to watch two games already, they would put food and bills before City or anything else, regardless of passion.

I've made some very tough decisions this season, myself. It's not a question of going to every game, it's a question of what someone's own circumstances can afford at that time.

It's not £30 for the day for the majority who would not be attending alone to any game, then they must also factor in food, etc.

Let's call it a dad and their child, it's closer to £100.
I'm 57 with two kids mortgaged and in debt ,and on bang average money ,
I'm paying for 3 season tickets and do most aways and euros ,
Watching city is what we do scrimp and save where I can and that funds my passion ,we find a way example missed the council tax this month to pay for Madrid ,
I 100% agree it's bloody expensive and I will never defend city's match day prices ,
A home game costs me about £80 for the 3 of us plus petrol etc so £100 day
My original point was if football is your hobbie £30 and free transport is as cheap as it's going to get ,bearing in mind your watching probably the best team in Europe and another good team

We are all City fans so its not a willie waving competition.

I am City mad but I chose a different way to finance my support.

I personally think missing out paying your council tax is bonkers lol not something I would do. We are all different i am not saying that's wrong or i am right.

Funnily enough it would seem to be cheaper going from Manchester to Wembley than us coming from SE Kent !

Too many people on this thread making excuses for not going to the semi final. Semi finals have been at Wembley for 15 years now. This seasons semi finals have been scheduled for Easter weekend since August. A lot of tickets are not dear in todays prices and travel can be free. There are trains if you want one via different routes which work out cheaper than the West Coast line. It's no wonder our support is not respected.
Spot on this. It’s the dippers at Wembley in a SF. There are trains & there are reasonably priced tickets available. Do what you can to get there and support the club. I’m sure it will sell out but the constant excuses from fans who can’t make games as big as this are just a nonsense.
