So have those scrubbers got boxpark & the green man?
Good idea SimonI've been thinking over the past few days that while thousands of non season ticket holders have showed commitment by buying tickets for the semi-final, if we get through they won't get near a ticket for the final. Personally, I think this can be tweaked and loyalty in a particular competition should come with incentives. Obviously, those on the cup schemes should still get first dibs on final tickets, but once it's gone beyond that I think those non season ticket holders who attended the semi deserve a chance of a ticket for the final. And if they also attended the Fulham home game they deserve an even better chance. That's why I'd propose ring-fencing a chunk of tickets for these fans and putting them to a ballot, with the remaining tickets going on sale to season ticket holders not on the cup scheme.
I don't think loyalty points is the issue here, it's the money angle. My monthly DD for gas and electricity has just increased by £120 per month. Even in the cheapest seats available that increase would barely cover tickets / travel / parking etc for Atletico and Liverpool. That's the issue here, people are picking and choosing especially when you factor in the cost of the second leg away. People are also taking a gamble that they would rather go to the final if we get there rather than the semi. The FA and the clubs need to get their heads out of their arses and sort out ticket prices and the broadcasting companies need to stop moving games at short notice to stupid ko times. Reading about Arsenal playing Newcastle on a Monday at 8 for instance.Hopefully, there will be a boost in sales today but I know finances are tight for plenty of Blues..
I’m not sure why loyalty points can’t be reinstated for our games at Wembley. Yes it probably won’t happen and the people running the administration of our Club don’t support us anyway. Is it really true that peole who don’t turn up for our home games and just list their tickets on the Ticket Exchange might get double points in future??
My point is that there seems to be a growing list of incentives for not turning up for games.
Fuck me that telegram group is embarrassing, half of them are asking people to buy them beers to take with them, my lad is 17 now but im certain that anytime over the last 5 years he would have managed to secure himself a few beers without the need to ask randomers on the internet.
Might offer to buy a few in 520 for them and string them along, get a few to send me some cash to donate to MCFC Foodbank
All good points mate but it wouldn’t have done any harm to keep the points for Wembley trips. Even if it’s just a marginal part of the solutions.I don't think loyalty points is the issue here, it's the money angle. My monthly DD for gas and electricity has just increased by £120 per month. The only way they'll get the message about prices is if stadiums are consistently well below capacity.I don't think loyalty points is the issue here, it's the money angle. And we have got the opposite situation with 3,500 seats used for fewer than half the home games, despite the season cards being paid for.The only way they'll get the message about prices is if stadiums are consistently well below capacity.
