FA Cup SF | Liverpool | Sat 16 Apr 15:30 | Travel, Ticket & Pub Discussion

Not doing it to point a finger couldn’t care how many a team sells, just did it to show how us travelling 250 miles is a lot more effort by us. When for them it’s about an hour commute for most fans. We are in a similar boat (selling multiple tickets per member) Obviously they’ve already been to Wembley once this year.
They haven't gone down to multiple tickets per member yet. They do that tomorrow on the 8th we did it on the 1st, and have gone to non-members since. It is not comparable, and no one has criticised City's sales.

If we have sold 30000 tickets for a game in London that neither side will prioritise then that is a magnificent effort. We'll done everyone.

Interestingly, looking on fanbanter. Co.uk, there is a table showing the all time average attendances. City are 8th with 30,394 and Liverpool are 2nd with 34,763. So not that much difference. United are well out in front with 40,360. No real surprises in the table, the most successful sides have most fans which is what you would expect. The two outliers are Spurs and Newcastle at positions 4 and 5 with neither side being trophy gatherers.

One club Citys like Newcastle shouldn't be mentioned in the same category.
