FA Cup SF | Liverpool | Sat 16 Apr 15:30 | Travel, Ticket & Pub Discussion

We should prioritise the next match. The FA Cup semi-final could be very influential in how the run-in unfolds.

Completely disagree. If we have to miss out on one of the three remaining trophies it is without question the FA Cup.

That's not the point I was making though.

I too would miss out on the FA Cup if I was told now that we could guarantee either the PL and/or CL title(s). If we beat Liverpool in the League, we still have 7 matches to play to win that title. If we beat AM, we still have 3 matches to play to win that title and if we beat Liverpool in the FA Cup we still have 1 match to play to win that title. No titles are given for any of the results in the next week, but if we win the FA Cup semi then it guarantees that Liverpool can't do a quad or domestic treble. So it takes a title away from them. Hence why it's a must win.

Liverpool are currently in the same position we were last year. We threw away the FA Cup Semi against Chelsea (to focus on the CL), which meant we couldn't win a treble or a quad. We lose the Semi of the FA Cup, Liverpool are still on for the lot. Personally i think that's worth stopping ASAP and the one result that does that is to knock them out of the FA Cup Semi.

We have a apathy with regards to cup competitions and have done for many a season.
In the recent years we have not had the number of our new supporters to pick up the slack.
I think the club should look at giving loyalty points for these type of games in order to make it more attractive to purchase.

I've not seen any info yet on when we'll receive the tickets for this game. Anyone know?
I've also selected the free coach travel but haven't seen a thing noted about it since

Why did they stop points for away games and Wembley?

I think because it descended into the ~3k people with the highest points buying a ticket to every away game and then selling it on if they couldn't go. So those ~3k people just accrued more point leaving everyone behind.

I used to be able to pick up tickets fairly easily for Southern away games on the tickets forum, since they've changed it that's become almost impossible.

Negatively impacted me, but I understood the reasoning. If you were 3,500th in line you'd be livid that you never got to go away.
