Giving them away would cost the club £71 per ticket.
They’ll be largely empty then. People are skint - £80 for a ticket for a semi-final is scandalous tbh but we’ve been saying that for years. Faced with a choice, most fans will save their money than pay that.

I know how this works actually. It's the reason why Stoke's allocation was supposedly increased by 2000 a few weeks before our final with them.

If you take out the middle tier, the stadium is divided into two. But a number from each side are ring fenced for the FA for member clubs, sponsors etc. When you apply for an FA ticket through that scheme you have to tick which club you support and they allocate them on that basis. If any aren't taken up, like Stoke's 2000, they then go to the clubs. I got a ticket for the Wigan final using that method through a mate who works for a premier league club. They could apply for up to 6 I think, and I got 3 of them.

If you remember, I said that this had happened on the first day of sales. I know because I bought tickets in block 120 on the first morning, but a whole square section in that block were already unavailable.

the prices were the same for Brighton, i read an article where it said we sold 28500 for that game, wonder if we will surpass that

those new blocks are shifting, albeit 20 tickets an hour…

Does anyone know whether they are sending confirmation of the free coach times?
Got my ticket and requested a place on 1 but just the ticket has arrived?

My tickets haven't arrived yet but tweeted the club earlier and they said an email will be going out about travel soon

Yep, I remember you saying that.

I was wondering yesterday when someone posted that Liverpool had received an extra 1500 tickets whether they were a couple of blocks that were originally earmarked for us but guessing that they weren't and they're from those ring fenced for the FA as you've described above but obviously on their side of the stadium.
