You presumsbly accept the odds on us avoiding lower league clubs for as long as we have are unfeasbily long.

Depends what is defined by lower league teams. Including this season, we've drawn a PL team in the 3rd round of the FA cup 5 times since the turn of the century (3 of which were at home).

I always understood that if yer signed for the Rags, there was a clause in the contract that stipulated abject surrender if you returned as a manager. Perhaps I've imagined it!

Have you read the post on here since the draw. Gerrard and Wright WERE in on the fix.

I'm still waiting to hear why theve now took offence with the rest of the world agaisnt our club.

If they wanted to pull off something like that I think they'd need to use two ex players who have more than 10 brain cells between them
