FA Cup Third Round - West Ham (a) 7.55pm Friday 6th Jan

We'll be knackered come jan,i can't see us putting out a super strong team, maybe different if we didn't have the long travel
Home tie the week before, a week's rest too (before and after the game). It's not that far to London and I'm sure the players won't be travelling in economy

I remember going to West Ham in the cup when the useless Mexican made his debut! Remember him being paraded at home the game before and then we got that!

I was ridiculously excited by that signing, possibly even more than Samaras (both on the basis of YouTube videos). Not sure who was the bigger disappointment.

So - we're saying the draw is fixed so that City constantly face stronger opposition, but also so that the rest of the entire draw is thoroughly average, with no real huge TV clashes of note?

Parts of it I'm convinced are "fixed", why
also get ex Players involved? Gerrard Tonight and guess what they get a piss easy home draw. We get a PL club away AGAIN! The agenda against us at times is unbelievable

Not sure if they can accommodate 15%, but I'm just speculating.

Different competition so probably not a fair comparison, but Chelsea were given 5,182 tickets priced between £15-25 for their EFL Cup game.

They should have been entitled to 5,700 (10% of capacity in EFL Cup compared to 15% in FA Cup) but "West Ham are restricted to hosting 5,200 opposition fans because of infrastructure issues".

We would do well to take 5,000 anyway for a game that is pretty certain to be on TV, and may end up being a Friday/Monday night.

There comes a point when logic dictates that something becomes so statistically unlikely that explanations other than a sheer anomaly have to be explored.

I certainly think it's possible.
What would be the motive, there would need to be a massive gain to pay off all the people involved and more importantly to run a risk of discovery, with different people involved in every draw. What could they possibly gain from giving us a hardish 3rd round game ?

How can anyone be sure? He's simply stating that the chances of it happening, on such a regular occurrence, are vanishingly small and it's not outlandish to suggest there's something more to it than blind, bad luck.

Which of the sky/bbc/media darlings got a difficult draw. More exciting 4th round draw, especially as most (if not all) of the non league teams have a decent chance of going through so can be caannon fodder for the same darlings next time around.
