I must congratulate the club on how the tickets have been sold both on the website and the phone system for both the semi & final.

I hope your not serious,,its a complete and utter travesty that people on the cup scheme with no points can get tickets before supporters with thousands of loyalty points, one big fuck up.

next season I think that more people will be on the cup scheme, I could be wrong but the cup scheme didn't cost anything,

didnt cost anything and the rules were clearly stated at the beginning of the season

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

People are still bitching about the cup scheme when there's nearly a ticket for every seasoncard holder? That's before local FA allocations and tickets bought in the Wigan end. There'll be closing on 50k blues at Wembley. Anyone who wants a ticket enough will get one.

the only fuck up is the people that didn't join this free service.

the first season you had a half an arguement but this year everyone knew the score.

there are thousands of fans with loads of points can't even be arsed going to the cup games in the early rounds, they are resting on their laurels knowing (or so they thought) they could always get a ticket to the final. so the guys who are "new fans" support the club in rounds 3,4,5 etc miss out on a ticket. hence the cup scheme. honest and fair if you ask me.

Makes me laugh this, the club clearly stated before last and this season people on the cup scheme will get to the front of the line for tickets. And from personal experience the web site has been a doddle to use.

Agreed. I think it's been great. I had to queue up overnight to get tickets last time. This time I made sure I was on the cup scheme and using the online booking system was fantastic.

Not disputing any of that, as i said its ok if you can afford cup scheme, season ticket for 25 years with a one year break, someone buys one season ticket, goes on the cup scheme and gets priority, what a load of bollocks.

Bemoan your personal circumstances then, not the system.

It's not hard it's in the name CUP SCHEME.
You can have 10,000 points but you don't opt in to the CUP SCHEME so the club stated that those on the CUP SCHEME get first choice. It's a simple concept and every season ticket holder had the option to join. FA Cup games on a weekend so just like a league game. Tickets cheaper to CUP SCHEME members also. So like it said on the tin, join it or wait till those fans that in the CUP SCHEME get there tickets.
Please no more threads on this subject.
Ticket office and website will have sold over 28,000(3000+ to club/players etc) tickets in over a week and a half so well done to them.

The cup scheme has also contributed to making sure we have decent attendances for home cup games.

So well done city on a good idea.

It happened to me against Stoke. On the final few tickets they went to anyone on the cup scheme regardless of points.I was fuming too but it dinn't help me,so ever since i joined the cup scheme. If we get drawn at home in every round you are only talking 4 games and these are usually discounted,so it was a no brainer.

Cup scheme has been a fantastic success, really glad they cup scheme members priority for the final as well. It's given the lazy arse season ticket holders who refuse to go to cup ties a kick up the arse. And now we get full houses for home cup ties as well
