FA dismiss Shaun Derry's appeal

I'm not in the least bit surprised. It doesn't matter that play shouldn't even have still taking place at the time, or that it wasn't even a foul anyway. Just waiting now to hear that Ivanovic's punch on the Wigan player (Maloney, I think) will go unpunished. The FA are a bloody joke.

A complete farce. Intellect, intelligence, scruples, fair play, honesty and rectitude are virtues which are absent from every disciplinary hearing. Young offside - mistake by the linesman; phantom foul on the diving cheat - mistake by the referee. Outcome: QPR are punished by the award of a penalty, condemned to play three-quarters of the match a man down and a further match. And when they have the opportunity to rectify one injustice after another, they choose to kick out the appeal.

Blind, self-serving, self-interested. Just the qualities needed for being the governing body of the national sport.

I have emailed them using my Fanny No. and told them what a shower of shite they are. I expect them to come running to my door for absolution. I will report further!

To be fair I couldn't give a damn about QPR if it gets Ballo off the hook. Having said that though this patently shows that the FA are completely senseless and arbitrary in their judgements.

How are people blind to the corruptness?

Their bubble of half-time oranges would burst leaving them in psychic agony if they countenanced such a thing. They freely admit everything else in this world suffers from corruption in one or another way; but not good old John Bull Roast Beef Tommy Atkins Straight Bat Spirit of The Blitz English football.

Let me correct myself: when I wrote "They freely admit everything else in this world suffers from corruption...", I forgot their own judgment is also excluded from the general class.

They busy themselves in maintaining the straw man of all-or-nothing; but the influence of lucre and pride works on the margins, cloaking itself in plausible deniability and feeding willing projection. The greatest trick of the corrupt in English football is to convince most they do not ontologically exist. In the case of those who deny corruption but admit it's possibility, their own hubris comes to the defence of the corrupt, i.e. "If there were corruption, I, of all men, would have seen it."

This is a real problem, Sigh...

It's roots are indeed in the Imperial mentality , where English fellows embodied 'fair play' whislt 'johnny foreigner' was alwys liable to corrupt double dealing....what a sad deluded vision

Shades of grey do not exist for this lazy-minded thinking...

I don't think that there is a systematic mafia ring of corruption in place but I do beleive that individual offcials are prone to bias, bottling it and a thick headed toeing of the dominant party lines trotted out by the (equally lazy minded) 'meeja'...

e.g. Spurs always play wonderful football (oops , no they're not) Arse are in tailspin (oops, no they're not)
Plus willful collective amnesia (e.g. Rooney's conduct on and off the field for most of his ugly career; how scum traeted the Munich survivors and how they got their money from a manc Arfer Daley, happy to potentially poison schoolchildren).

The more I see of the FA the more depressed I become...

We should be giving those corrupt bastards dog's abuse at every stadium in the land........

How can they say it was a goal scoring opportunity?

He wasn't in posession of the ball and had little chance to reach it before it went through to the keeper

what a cumload of bollocks. The FA and rags are collectively in it commercially with shirt sales.

how conveniently nice and lovely for all those rag wankers across the globe without regard to skin colour or ethnicity to sport new rag and England kits every time a new one is released
