FA Youth Cup. City v Fleetwood - 7th February @7pm

Can’t see space for too many of them but

Oreilly, Whittingham, Katongo, Gálvez, Dickson are only ones too old next season. Ndala will go for his development I think as so dominant, maybe also Dada Mascoll, but they have replacements and some. Watch this space :)
And Max Alleyne, George Murray-Jones.
The players replacing them next season pretty much are the ones who came off the bench.

Just had a look and as reported further up, the Oxford v Leeds game was postponed due to a frozen pitch?
Apologies you are right, last night on the FA's website it stated Oxford had won, just checked again now it's showing they're playing the game next week

What are the odds on Oxford United winning? Asking for a friend ;)
Leeds are 10th in the Under 18's Northern Premier and Oxford are not in the Southern Premier League so I am assuming that they are a category 2 or 3 academy, so I think we will be clear favourites to progress

Whoosh :)

I was thinking more along the lines of the result already being decided and getting a quick bet on.

Yes I forgot about them two sorry . And you are right some of next years group were the replacements but will be a year wiser.

Basing my assessment on most recent experiences observing last years u16 absolutely crush the likes of Chelsea with ease and style, then watched U17 group without many of the current crop destroy Blackburn 6-0 this season and looked unplayable on the day.

I read a report in the Athletic about a year ago about playing style and rated players coming through in these age groups and the usuals were in there, but others we have barely seen at U18 so far got notable mentions and the athletic is usually well informed, plus some new signings. All very positive !

Oxford beat Leeds 3-0, so it is them that we play in the quarter finals at ours. Needs to be played before March 4th so my money on it being 28th Feb when some of us are down Bristol City!!
