Fabian Delph 2016/17 performances

Think he had a history of ankle injuries in his time at Villa (and Leeds), but he seems to be picking up injuries in other areas now, too. If this trend continues, which worryingly seems to be the case with other players as well- injuries in one place adding extra strains to other parts of the body that then themselves break down, then it doesn't bode well.

Why is he getting so many injuries?

He always seemed to be fit at Villa, makes you really question our training methods.

Hopefully Pep will be be all over this.

Banter mate. Pep has his own worries about keeping a fit squad.

Shocked to hear this news. Shocked.

Well everyone who think Gundogan is injury prone should look at Delph. He is injury prone.

He spent 2 or 3 years crocked at Villa before having 2 seasons of being relatively fit. Fear for the lad's future with us, especially if 2 or 3 midfielders come in this summer.

I am blessedly free from this emotion when considering the possibility that Delph might not have a future at City.

Disaster of a signing. Injury prone, not enough quality to make the grade.

£8m isn't much, but cheap shit is still shit.

We need to stop pursuing players because they have the right passport, if they don't make the grade we shouldn't be pursuing them.

Tired of all these freeloaders who you can't rely on because they're never fit or because they're fucking useless.

Hope Pep gouges them out over the coming years and fully integrates academy lads into squad roles.

I bet he's not injured at all. He's trying to save face by being 'unavailable' rather than being cut from the final squad, which he would 100% have been.
