Delph is costing us goals every single game. None of our left backs are good defenders but at least Zinchenko is good going forward. At least he offers us something.

If Zinchenko played every game he would be costing us goals every game. Not convinced he is much better going forward either. Its quite ridiculous how we are talking about this problem though. A team who is favourites to win all competitions we are in should not be in this position.

We'll agree to disagree on your first point but on the second one you're right. I don't blame Delph, he is what he is - an average player playing out of position. Guardiola should have taken him out of the firing line by now because other managers are not daft they'll exploit your weaknesses eventually.

Yep, no matter how good the rest of the team is, it only takes one or two weak links to cost you big time.

His red card was harsh and he’s playing in a secondary position, so I’m not going to be overly critical of Delph.

However, teams do seem to have identified LB as a weakness of ours and consequently we’re conceding more goals than usual.

If there aren’t any viable targets in the upcoming window, it’s imperatve that we sign a quality left back in the summer.

With the exception of Clichy for a few years (plus Kolarov to a lesser extent) it’s been a problem area of ours for many seasons.

Just looking at it again, I don’t think it was a red. Dean had a horrible game today and gave us nothing. That foul on Danilo before they equalised was a shocking decision not to give it. We’re playing against the officials this season, it’s a joke

Are you just gonna sit by your computer all night re-posting the same comment to anything you consider negative?

Are you asking me out for a drink ?

And your comment was fucking negative and uncalled for imo.

Happy with that ?

And just look at the pen the dippers got today. Absolutely ridiculous differnce between us and them when it comes to refs

We shouldn't really be surprised .

Not a red card? You absolute set of goons. I bet you’d all be saying it was a red if Delph was on the receiving end of a tackle like that. The bias on here is laughable.

At first I thought it was a good, hard tackle but when they showed it again he definitely deliberately left something on him and with someone like Dean you run the risk of it being a red. For one of the more senior players in the team, it was a reckless and irresponsible thing to do.

Exactly, There's folk on here saying it wasn't even a foul. Staggering.

It was a Red.

His red card was the best thing he done today.
He is not good enough player for us. how many goals he will cost us?
Just a few weeks ago he played for England in midfield and was awarded the man of the match, The lad is being played out of position and it’s showing recently unfortunately. Can’t understand why he isn’t being played in Fern position,he can’t do any worse than Gundy the ghost. Then the young lad Zinchenko at left back. Must be a reason behind Peps thinking

Correct. It’s the camera angle from Delph’s left that shows it best (roughly the same view as the linesman). He made sure after contacting the ball that he made significant contact on the player too. He got frustrated and went after him. It’s intent to harm a player and it’s a clear red card offense.

You should be aware that you’re now a rag for saying that though Ric. The way it works on here.

Couldn't care less about the red card tbh as he's been an absolute liability. He simply cannot rack a cross at all, he completely loses his man every time and teams have finally figured that out. The sad thing is Zinchenko is pretty much just as bad at it and it'll probably cost us the title

You're spot on - fancy a midfield player not excelling when playing as a makeshift fullback .

Shocking .
