I think he would fit in well at West Ham. He is incredibly industrious, (and reminds me of Noble), but probably dives in a bit too much for Pep's liking. Losing his home grown status is the trickiest thing.

I think hed be quote good under Pellegrini in midfield.

I think he was impressive in the 2 games he was fit under Pellegrini here.

Fabian Delph: ”I enjoy that side of trying to help push the team and get them fired up. I get very emotional. The best thing about the City squad if somebody needs digging out then someone will dig them out. As soon as it's done it's finished. Nothing is personal.”

“If someone has a go at somebody, it's not personal, it's for the benefit of the team. I've always been the same - I was a nightmare when I was 18 or 19. An absolute nightmare. Six stone wet through and screaming at big ugly centre-halves.”

“I've learned to control that a little bit, but I'm a guy who likes to win. I hate losing. I've got three daughters, I can’t even let them win at everything.”

Played well last season but too prone to mistakes to merit a place in a team where the margin of error now is so small.

Thanks for your efforts, much too prone to a red card or a fuck-up.

A youth player like Smith could take his place and we'd not see any drop off in the team performance.

If we can pull £10m+ out of a club then that's all good.

“You’re not doing the berrrrrrrrrrrrsics”

Fabian Delph: “I never thought I’d be playing 60 games a season for City, I knew I would be playing half of that if I was lucky. I knew at a club with that much power and resources there would always be a flood of players into the team...”

”It wasn’t about playing week in, week out, it was about being part of a fantastic squad. The aim was to win trophies and in four seasons, we’ve won seven. At the end of the day, I still came out with the same medals as the boys.”
