In all likelihood he has played his last game for us..
Hopefully.

Pep opted for Delph's intelligence & versatility over Danilo, in hindsight easy to say it was a mistake owing to some naive defending on one action but this match could've just as easily ended up a win or draw. It's football but obviously it underscores the issues at LB in all the time Pep has been at City, crazy really
I get what you mean. They will play Sonaldo up top and Moura wide and will be tough to prevent from scoring. We need 3 minimum.Id rather be defending with Kane because you know thats where they are going to get the ball every time, without him they are more dangerous.
Delph's intelligence. Haha, good one.
“When a guy who is so kind and can help the team, he is intelligent, is physical and never loses the ball."
Pep has a great sense of humour.According to Pep, yes

Unfortunately we're having to throw players in to key games who haven't played much and we expect them to be at their best straight away. Most of our players need regular games to get the best out of them, Delph is one, so is Jesus and Mendy. It's a symptom of rotation but at the moment we have no choice.
No, not correct on any of those points.
Delph has been a liability and costs us game after game after game. It's not his fault, he needs to be put out of his misery. But whether he plays one game, ten games or a hundred games he will be at fault for at least a goal or a sending off.
Last night we had Kompany, Stones and Danilo on the bench. Any of them would have been a better option (with Laporte at left back).
Lots more intelligent choices yesterday. Laporte at full back, we had enough fresh centre back legs through Stones. Pep has admitted he wanted to play two DM’s at the expense of Kev. Best coach in the world but he fucked up last night. Overthinking the CL. Play our best team in the normal way and w3 would hav3 won that comfortably.Unfortunately we're having to throw players in to key games who haven't played much and we expect them to be at their best straight away. He'll be at Sheffield United next season, relearning the basics of football
