He is being vastly under rated by most of this forum.

He was fucking outstanding in a woeful team last season and gained himself a few international caps into the bargain. He's a very decent player.

I see him more as a Barry/Milner than a Sinclair/Rodwell ....I maybe wrong but I will support him and wish him the best like I do with every player who agrees to join us .....as long as he gives 100% when he pulls on the shirt he will get no complaints from me...this deal is a win win situation

Possibly, but I think its more 2 like for like players per position.

I think Fernando will still get games, and he was latterly showing sign of getting to grips with the PL last season.

Have to say whenever he has played against us I have always thought he was a **** in the same way everyone did about dejong (not city fans) when we played them, but bottom line is we are about to sign him and he will do a job for us simple as that. Moaning and bitching about it won't change anything so as far as I'm concerned I'm behind him 100%
