Being a Villa regular means nothing; any moron can buy a season ticket.

No I hope you tell me in 12 months time how badly I got this wrong to be honest. But with the comments "we have some idiot fans who support us" remark because we tend to disagree with the signing just shows immaturity. But I know Delph as a player very well, I know because a close friend is a season ticket holder at Villa and goes home and away. He says that Delph stands out as a ok player in a bad team. He's good at tackling but nothing special and does randomly boot the ball anywhere to clear it.

He's not what we need, at all.

This is all my opinion ofcorse but I know in 12 months the majority of haters will be out in force.

Edit: We all don't need to agree to be supporters you know.

Whilst I have already said I hope he proves me wrong, there's more than enough evidence to suggest that many would like him to prove others wrong not because it would then be beneficial to City but so they can shout "Where are the haters now?" Like Mangala. That reasoning is just as bad as those who want to prove they were right if he flops, they're both stupid and the wrong way to look at things.

If Delph plays well/poorly my first reaction won't be "Oh, let me log on to Bluemoon and call people out" Give your head a wobble if it is.

I think this could turn out to be an astute piece of business. He's younger than both Fernandinho and Fernando plus he's at least as good as the former and strides ahead of the latter. He can pass the ball really well, he can tackle, is good going forward and in defending the back four...

He's also only going to improve playing with those of yaya and silvas caliber.

But most importantly he's English +HG , an improvement to the squad as a whole and a fucking snip at £8m.
