So I am glad he hasnt come he would have been a useful squad player but that was it but you need players who are mentally strong to and he clearly isnt

Absolutely this - we need guys with self-belief and and a bit more ambition that Delph has demonstrated. If he does become an England regular it will only be due to the dearth of real English talent out there.

Not really sure that's a narrative just yet mate. We're trying to get 4 deals done, and in order of importance this was 4th. It's still disappointing, but I for one am going to judge Txiki on his ability to deliver on the other 3.

Obviously Delph was not one of the star signings so this is not a disaster from a football point of view. But Txiki has now got to worry about getting another HG in apart from Raheem, PP and de Bruyne. Personally, if we get two of the three Txiki will have done a good job.
