He has done well for us and we're getting more back than we paid for him. Given his injury issues and the amount of time left on his contract, it's a decent enough deal for us.

solid player for us. Understandably he will move on as with Angelino signing we now have even more cover in the fullback position and he aint ever going to start in our midfield (though he could do a job at times)
wish him all the best of luck and hopefully he can overcome some of those long term injury issues that seem to plague him

Sadly not. He likes anti-vax stuff all the time on IG. Search it on twitter. Loads of examples knocking about. Lost a tonne of respect for him too...

For fucks sake. My lad's autistic, so I reserve a special level of annoyance for anti-vaxxers. Aside from that, it's factually incorrect and most recently based on a widely discredited work by Andrew Wakefield.

Anywho, good riddance

£8.5m is a bit on the low side in the current market, but you have to factor in that he only has 12 months left on his contract. He’s been a good servant though, and it still represents a profit on what we paid for him, so a good deal all round.

You probably also need to allow for the fact he is pushing 30 and has a rotten injury record. Don't think City are desperate to get rid but wouldn't be surprised if they don't want to make it difficult for him to move if that's what he wants.

£8 million is a superb fee for a 29 year old coming off a disappointing season, with high wages and a bad injury record. Will be impressed if we get it done at that price.

Wish him all the best at Everton. Much better than going to Turkey.

Been a good servant to us and played a role in probably the best two seasons we as a club have ever had. An honest player who always gave his all. Wish him well at Everton, except when they face us of course!

He'll be a great signing for Everton, injuries permitting. He was excellent in our Centurions team and has great character and experience. He is just what they need in midfield and will support their creative players like Siggurson, Gomez and Bernard.

By all accounts he will be missed more in the dressing room than on the pitch, But hey lets not under estimate the value of a good talker who goes round motivating those who need it Also despite not being a regular, i dont imagine he gave Pep to much grief
