I used to like him, but after this transfer I dont. Just like falcao moving there for the wrong reasons. I mean, he's 22 for God sake. Should be going to a more competitive team/league.

I'd be delighted for that to happen, and suggested it might be an option myself a couple of weeks back. I suspect we'll need to cover some of Sagna's reported £80k a week wages for the last year of his contract as Monaco seem to be shedding as many of their big wage signings as possible. Doubt very much they'll want to take on board such a wage, as it'll likely be a good £50k more than Fabinho is currently on.

The way I see it, Maffeo is 18 and only had one season in the EDS. He's too young to replace either Zaba or Sagna, but both need replacing sooner rather than later. Bring in Fabinho for Sagna, Bring in Maffeo for Zaba in 3 years time when he's still only 21 off the back of a successful loan (similar to Denayer).

Similar situation with Angelino on the left. Replace Kolarov soon, keep Clichy as back up until Angelino can replace him.
