He played centre mid against arsenal last season, and I was impressed with him just as much with kondogbia. Never seen him at right back.

He's spent most of his career at loan at clubs as his rights were owned by third parties, so he had to be parked in Portugal (as it's the only place in Europe where 3rd party ownership is legal)

Very useful player, can play RB or holding midfield and was excellent wherever he played last year. Very tall for a RB as well, so could probably play just about anywhere really

interesting you say he plays as a defensive midfielder as well. i think itd be hugely beneficial if some of our "non big 3" targets can play multiple positions to help with squad size.

Be good if we could give them Sagna as part of the deal and knock a couple of mill off.

He might fancy a return to Ligue 1

A name that starts With Fab and has Inho at the end... And from Brazil! I'm in! Proper transfer this one :-)

Being linked with him and Otamendi are really strange possibly £50M on positions that aren't a priotity

Zaba is 30 and only has a few years left at the top of his game and Sagna is shite. Makes total sense buying a 21 year old RB to eventually take over the reigns.

tall, quick and strong tackler.....could also play a defensive midfield role.....seems a good signing if true..

I know its youtube but felt those that hadn't seen him, might be interested...

He's been decent over the few years at Monaco, but would we really skin Monaco for both their fullbacks? (If Kurzawa is still in the picture?)

I wouldn't mind him instead of Sagna, would be cheaper in wages.

As long as Sagna goes this looks to be a great signing. Allow him to get used to the PL as Zaba's backup for a couple more seasons and I'd imagine he'll be our first choice by the age of 24 at the latest. Injecting youth!
