I'd like us to sign him instead of Walker personally(he can play right back and dm, Pep wants his fullbacks to be able to play centrally at times so he might be a better fit)... that AFrenchGuy fella says we can't have him and they aren't selling a single player this summer so it looks like we are out of luck. :)

Why would you think that? He can play RB + Midfield and has been amazing this season in Monaco's uprising. He's great on the ball and can do everything Pep wants from a defender + midfielder.

He played more than 90% of the games as CM this season and not as RB.
If he join us he will compete with Gundogan, Fernandinho & maybe Yaya to fill the CM (pivot) position.

He can play at RB very well though is the point and our version of RB will not stifle as much as his game as he will be very involved with build-up play, so his preferred position might not be as much of an issue in the negotiations.He played more than 90% of the games as CM this season and not as RB.

I haven't read that to be fair, Levy is going to take the piss though, I thought this was the alternative. For Midfield I was hoping we were going to look for a Kanté type player with bags of energy for closing people down he didn't look that type of player to me or have I just not seen enough of him? Oh and Isco to extend Silva's career by saving his legs.But according to MCRJON and media we will sign Walker too !
