Also if a part of the heart is deprived of oxygen this long, it can result in heart failure due to dead muscle tissue.

Doctors are miracle workers these days, though.

in a weird way it was one of the better places for it to happen cos he'll get the quickest and best possible care.

at least he's got a fighting chance.

Been thinking the exact same thing, given the circumstances if the lad pulls through these people must have done an absolutely exceptional job and deserve great praise, just hope it all works out.

It should be law for all football clubs to have a defibrillator, from Premier League to Sunday League. I know they cost a lot but what price can you put on a life?
 
My sister had a heart attack in hospital last year. Shes only 30. Her heart was stopped for 15 minutes and she pulled through thanks to quick cpr and is getting back to 100%. Let's just pray the same happens here.
